Growing up, I understand this quote more and more.
When I was a kid, I used to think “yeah, play first, homework later” because I thought I would have a lot of time in the evening to do homework. But evening didn’t last much after dinner and before bedtime.  Sometimes I didn’t have enough time for homework after playing toys and games. I thought I had time.
When I was teenager, sometimes when my friends asked me to hang out with them, I said I was busy with studies (yes, I was indeed), and I told them we could hang out later. But they then went study abroad in foreign countries, some of them I still haven’t had a chance to meet again. I thought I had time.
When I am a student, I’m interested in studying more and more. I spend a lot of time on researching, interviewing people. I miss my family at home a lot when I am not at home. I miss them, but I thought hhm, okay, I had weekend to spend with them. But then on weekend, I had to do homework. and my grandMom passed away! I regret not spending much time with her. I should have spent more time with her before it had been too late. But it’s too late now. I had thought I had had time.
Treasure time with your beloved people before it’s too late!

"It happens to everyone as they grow up. You find out who you are and what you want, and then you realize that people you’ve known forever don’t see things the way you do. So you keep the wonderful memories, but find yourself moving on. "
